During a recent visit to the ESBAŞ, representatives from İzmir Invest engaged in productive discussions with Dr. Faruk Güler, Chairman of the ESBAŞ Board of Directors. Among the topics discussed was the imperative to attract foreign investors, particularly from Europe, to the newly established Western Anatolia Free Zone (BASBAŞ).

Ruhisu Can Al, Chairman of İzmir Invest, emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in promoting BASBAŞ to international investors. “We are committed to showcasing the opportunities available within the Western Anatolia Free Zone to investors abroad, particularly in Europe. As a result of the fruitful discussions, İzmir Invest and ESBAŞ have agreed to formalize their collaboration through a memorandum of understanding (MOU). The MOU outlines mutual cooperation in promoting BASBAŞ, facilitating investment inquiries, and organizing promotional activities targeting international investors.

Dr. Faruk Güler expressed optimism about the partnership’s potential impact on Izmir’s investment landscape. “This collaboration signifies a significant step towards attracting foreign investment to our region. By leveraging İzmir Invest’s expertise and network, we are confident that BASBAŞ will emerge as a preferred destination for international investors seeking growth opportunities in Turkey,” remarked Dr. Güler.
